Team Queen Esther participating in Scotiabank Calgary Marathon 2015

For the third year in a row, Team Queen Esther will be participating in the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon on Sunday, May 31, 2015.

Every dollar raised during this event goes directly towards helping immigrants and newcomers to Alberta get an education. Last year, we helped more than 50 families in Calgary, Edmonton and other Alberta communities and we want to double that goal this year!

Here’s how you can help:

Do you like to walk or run, and want to help a charity at the same time? Team Queen Esther is OPEN to ANYONE to join, and our team truly does get the Royal Treatment:

• NO REGISTRATION FEE: Participants who agree to raise a minimum of $200 will not have to pay the registration fee for the 5K, 10K, half marathon or full marathon (saving you over $100).

• A WELLNESS SWAG BAG full of useful and fun items to get you through race day.

• Complimentary pre-race carb-loading feast the evening before the race (May 30) at Buon Giourno, one of Calgary’s best Italian eateries.

• Eligibility for tons of race-day team prizes and giveaways!
